Second Semester.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments that you guys left on my last post. Boyfie also told me the same thing. That I should tell my parents. But I think time will come for that. And I’m glad that he really believes in me and he appreciates me. :)

Anyways, second semester started. I have Filipino Language and Culture 25, Math 20 Pure and English 20-2. Every other day, I have Information Processing 10 and Career and Life Management.

I am a loner in Math. I don’t know anyone ._. bad thing, we answered something on the very first day and I totally have no idea what I was putting down. The rest of my courses are just blah blah blah.

Now, Filipino was sooo fun! HAHA! My teacher and my classmates kept on speaking in Filipino! Although I feel bad for my Filipino blooded classmates who can’t speak and understand it. We’re all Filipinos. It’s either they’re pure (which most of us are) or some just have it as part of their blood.

I’m hoping that this semester will be kind to me. Math is slowly killing me. But it’s still easy. Looks like I’ll be bonding with my graphing calculator until the end of spring. And speaking of spring, I think winter is almost over now. The snow is slowly melting and I hate it! It’s too slippery and muddy. Talk about eww.

P.S. It’s almost Valentines’ Day AND my 2nd monthie with boyfie! :D

Multicultural Day. :)

We celebrated Multicultural Day at school on the 18th of November. We had these different stalls featuring different nations. And of course, there’s the Philippines’ stall! There were Filipino foods there. And funny story, my Chemistry teacher first went on that stall instead of going to his country’s stall, Italy.

Chemistry teacher: “Okay. What’s delicious here, Hella? :D”
Me: “All of them! Try all of them!”
Chemistry teacher: “Really?? All of them?”
Me: “Yeah! Oh! Try Adobo! It’s delicious :D”
Chemistry teacher: “Oh Adobo? Okay okay. I’ll try that one! Oh! I want Lumpia!”
Me: “And try Menudo, too!”
Chemistry teacher: “You see *insert friend’s name here*, I also eat Filipino foods :D”

He seems interested in Filipino culture. Maybe it’s because the majority of the students in our school is of Filipino heritage. He even wanted a sample plate but he can’t since he has to give tickets for the foods. And my sister even saw him passing by back again! He said to me that he’ll come back and try the other stuff. But the foods are gone too fast. It’s because Filipino food is delicious! And it was so funny. Here in Canada, Spring Rolls is what we call Lumpia here. And it’s really surprising that he really called it Lumpia! And he wanted to try Turon too! :D okay. Here’s another conversation.

Chemistry teacher: “We have a Filipino class in this school? I didn’t know that!”
He looked and me and asked..
Chemistry teacher: “So what’s the official language of the Philippines? Is it Tagalog?”
Me: “Yes. Tagalog is the official language. :D”
Chemistry teacher: “Is it the only language there or do you have different dialects?”
Me: “Yeap. We have different regions in the Philippines speaking in different dialects but Tagalog is the most spoken since the largest island speaks Tagalog :)”
Chemistry teacher: “Ohh. Okay okay. I just want to know because majority of the students of this school is Filipino and I don’t want them swearing behind my back :) thanks!”

Swearing in school is a super big deal for people in my school. I dunno why. Maybe because it’s a Catholic school :D you get detention for swearing.

Okay I’m sorry. I was just hyped that he was this interested. Haha! And of course being Filipino, I’m gonna be this proud! Anywaaaays. I’m still very sorry for not returning comments and not going to your blogs. It’s just that I’ve been so busy and I have got no time for blogging. I promise that I’ll make more time during Christmas vacation. :)

Canadian High School! :)

I’m back again! Fresh from school. Hahah! Well. I just spent my 3rd day of Canadian High School today. School is actually fun and I’m glad I’m called a student again. Haha! Yes, I’m that shallow :)

All of my teachers are very kind. I love them all! They’re not boring and they all teach well. So far. But I think my Chemistry teacher is a little bit trying hard to be funny. I find his stories of stupidity amusing though. He uses such voices and funny action when he tells his stories. Boy, did he had such a University life. Hahahaha! We’re all thinking: “How did this guy ever entered and graduated from University?”

One thing I don’t like though. I had homeworks already. This post is supposed to be here 2 days ago. But then I was busy studying for effin’ Chemistry. It’s killing me! Exaggerating here. Gaaaahd. There’s still HWs even though it’s a long weekend. Yeah, it’s a long, holiday weekend. Yaaay!

Anyways, I already made new friends. Filipino friends. Yaaay again! I’m still quiet in the company since I’m new and yeah. I still don’t memorize their names. Hahaha! That’s why I’m hunting them on Facebook right now. Yes, I hunt people :)

That’s about it. I bet this school year is starting out just right. Bloghop time! Toodles! :D

P.S. I’m glad almost everybody got their keys locked inside the car. Gave me a sense of feeling I wasn’t the only one. Hahaha!
P.P.S *or P.S.S. whatever. Haha!* I don’t feel it’s already September! The countdown begins ;) if you know what I’m counting down for, you know what I mean.
P.P.P.S or P.S.S.S. I’m used to my locker now! It’s so convenient to use :D I have to hurry using them during class intervals though.
